Removing rear lights.

I won a set of rear lights off an 05 Cupra on eBay today - how do I go about removing the old units?

Any help appreciated

If you are interested in these I might be selling on if I dont like them on the car.

the outside ones you open the boot and will see two torx screws undo these and then to release the light you have to give it a bit of a tap on the side intowards the car and should pop out, as for the other ones im not really sure maybe screws under the bulb access cover?

I phoned Seat for a price on the parts and it was silly money so I decided not to bother... I did bid on these and removed my bid but was bored in work and seen they were still sitting at a low price.

Done my usual enter my highest bid in the last 30 seconds, went for a can of juice and came back to see I won (If I sat refreshing I'd have kept bidding until I won them!).

A reasonable price was paid for them, seen them going for a lot more to be honest!

I asked the condition about scratches he says the condition is perfect and when on the car they'd look like new - if they aint I'll be getting my money back.

They're easy to take off, IIRC the middle bits are held in by a couple of torx screws, and the outer bits as gaz described, but they need a good pull! Just have a go it's not hard

Not all easy.

its called you need to Pull pull and keep on pulling. Some can be buggers, my last 2 i removed were pigs and needed persuading with a tap of a rubber mallett

ive taken quite a few of these rear lamps out and some are certainly harder than others if the lights have never been taken out the metal clips holding the outer edge in are a b$ast4rd but most are pretty simple!
