Replaced headlight bulb still not working - Ibiza 1.9 2006

I'm not really mechanically minded but would like to learn a little and with the help of a friend replaced a dodgy headlight bulb with a new one and still not working. Passenger side. :wtf:

Visually the old one looks damaged new one as you would expect visually no defects.
Not sure if it is a fuse issue I guess not as I doubt a car would have a single fuse for a single bulb? I don’t have the owner’s manual to check the fuses.

Any ideas greatly appreciated Car is 1.9 TDI FR 2006.

Thanks,

Craig.

Hi, weird as all the other lights work?

I'll check the fuses tomorrow - I'll have to go through all of them one by one :S but if it has to be done :)

It helped :D

Thanks for this I’ll be printing it out :)

Using the fuse layout above quickly figured it wasn’t the fuses that was the issue (Removing and swapping them etc), and then swapped the blub over with the other side. Turned out to be the new blub! Visually there seems to be nothing wrong with it.
Another new bulb in and sorted :D

Thanks for all your help and comments guys :D

Next issue rear washer although I’ve heard this is a common fault so I’ll do some digging on the forums.

Cheers,

Craig.

Yep, very common, mine has only ever come off in two places, either in the boot lid - directly behind/underneath the washer/wiper mecahnism or in the engine bay just next to the bulkhead on the left hand side. Should be as simple as removing the relevant bits of trim if needed or reaching down and popping it back togather, then it's a case of remembering not to use it when it is 0 degrees or below...
