Replacement 6speed gear knob 4 cupra!

Im fed up with my rubbish std knob in my cupra tdi, the top of it rattles slightly, the paint finish is slowly peeling off the top and to be honest I think it looks a bit cack!

So my questions are these:

1) How do you get the sodding thing off, cos Iv given it a good tug (no pun intended) and it seems stuck pretty fast lol!

2) Ny1 know of a decent looking pref alloy gear knob within the vag group which will fit (want1 with the R and 1-6 in same place) such as TT or summin??

Some really nice stuff on that site esp the seat gear knobs, shame they r so expensive, I know we are @ nearly $2 to the £ but even then £85 is a bit steep for a gearknob lol! Ny ideas which seat these r off??

Silver one is the replacement SEAT sport one that you can buy from UK dealers I think, ask Guinness I'm sure he has one
