Yeah I love the car and it was cheap for what I got in my opinion, the reason I've gone springs is for coilovers I'd want the best and that's just being stupid money, so I'm going the cheap option along with I need my bushes doing quickly before it trashes my new tyres so though gotta pay for alignment may aswell drop springs on it at this point.....

March i should see a new tip and fans I hope...
Still contemplating the remap route ?? Do I?? Don't I etc ?? You know what it's like I'm more than happy with what it does its lively for a std car, but I'd also love a bit more in my next breath.....mmm

I forgot you paid the same price as i did, think we both got bargains tbh. Springs will do nicely anyway, iv seen a couple of before and after pics and it looks good, but they do need spacers when dropped, have you got them for yours??

Do it, will make a big difference when it is, do agree though in standard form they are pretty impressive!!

Once again iv been working on the engine bay. Decided to replace some of the bolts with countersunk ones and washers (which are way overpriced but worth it)
Managed to snap one of the bolts as well, so will need to drill it out at some point

Before:

More pics of the bay. Re arranged the catch tank hoses as well as it was all over the place.

In the middle of refurbing the calipers as well but is taking longer than i thought

Thats alright, i went for the cobra resonated in the end. Cheap and good quality i think

Another update, more maintainence than modding. I changed the blue antifreeze to the correct G12 red antifreeze, needed to do the thermostat as well as it was stuck open. Have to admit it took a long time to flush the stuff out.
Gave it an oil change as well

Easier job was done first and that was fitting new fabia wiper

Took the front bumper off to make life easier, should be getting it resprayed soon as well

Also got my new key as well

Next up i will be fitting my turbo back exhaust when it eventually arrives

Cheers mark, it does look a bit of a wreck at the mo but it is coming together... eventually

Had a look at how far up the downpipe bolts up to and it doesn't look easy at all, few things need moving for easy access. Ill give it a go though. Take it you wont tackle your exhaust yourself then?? lol

Oh not good mate, hope it wasn't to serious Good choice though, can't beat a red LCR I only found out recently that there are two shades of red for the LCR's

Exactly mate, its weird seeing people that you have only been talking to on the forum. Iv seen the face to name thread so ill recognise a couple of people lol. Will be an awesome day though. Is there a summer AMD meet this year as well??
