Work well then ? does boost work on yours bud ? Any idea's if it would be able to detect missfires or anything like that at all.. Going to order when i get paid

this would be ideal for me as my vag com is on my girl friends lap top so i have to pester her to use it to read fault codes and clear them ect when i need it plus its a swish looking bit o kit to have inside the car

Its alright, not that great. I got scangauge 2 and it will only pick up CEL's not intermittant fault which are basically in the background. It doesnt show boost either. Mines mounted where the ash tray used to be...

Ignore the rubbish, it was off the road at this point...

You can get the MAP value from the built-in Xgauge feature. You can basically get any reading from the ECU, as long as you know where to look for it.

Yea but how do you know where to look for it? The XGauge PDF only shows a few values for VW cars and you can't actually get all of those.

When you're not pressing the pedal, it is 0. When it is flat to the floor it is 100. And when pedal is in between, it is in-between 0 and 100.

egt = exhaust gas temp

the scan gauge only dispays information that the ecu is measuring, standard ibizas dont have an exhaust gas temperatue probe so this cannot be measured... even if u fitted an exhaust gas temp probe, it would need to be wired into the loom and ecu as the scangauge II takes its readings from the OBD port

so... no... it cant do egt on ibizas basically
