I have never mounted it mate, just used it when i needed to so most of the time it is not in the car. Got to try and find some where to mount it really

@ sooty22:- What do you mean? The link or the actual product?

Its alright, not that great. I got scangauge 2 and it will only pick up CEL's not intermittant fault which are basically in the background. It doesnt show boost either. Mines mounted where the ash tray used to be...

Ignore the rubbish, it was off the road at this point...

phil i love where that is could you please take me through what you had to do to get that in there?

I just removed the cigarette lighter which just leaves a hole. Its all clipped in so you dont have to cut or break anything. I got a piece of acrylic cut to mount it all up. It just sits there so i can take it out at any time.

thought i'd revive this thread.

Does anybody currently, or previously used one in an 2003 Leon Tdi?

Im getting mixed answers at the minute as OBDII ports were mandotory only after 2004 on diesel's, but I'm 99% certain my car has an OBDII port.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Its under a little pannel under the heater controlls.

So that is the OBDII port, so it will be compatible? Its just because they told me it wasnt compatible due to it only being mandotory for 2004> diesel cars.

I thought i had the port as my friend (mechanic) has had his diagnostics tool plugged in a few times.
