As you can see from the video there is a connector but no wire.
I believe this is the pump part no: 6R0423156B

it means your coding is wrong, change it to 11221 and your problem will be solved.
the connector being there without wire is normal. it is there to prevent water from getting in. leave it as it is.

PS: coding must be done with key half turn. if you do it with the engine running the pump will ignore the coding.

Thanks buddy, i thought the wire was missing. I will get the coding changed as soon as posibble. By the way do you know where i can get this done? And how much would they charge? Or I have VCDS on my laptop, where can i get the cable from? I bought one from Ebay but it didnt work.

I was reticent to put the link here, I have no idea what's official or not regarding the vcds... Is there any official version cheap?
Maybe find a garage for them to do it for you. As long as you tell them what you want to do, and they have the right tool, wich they should have it will be no problem.
PS: The cause the pump has the incorrect code is because apparently at some poing someone replaced it by a pump beloging to a car without ESP and didn't change the coding to the correct one. Very common among pumps fitted outside the dealer, almost no one knows they require coding.

Ohh, makes sense now because you knew exactly whats wrong with it.
I was talking about this thread. Have a look at this and play around with the x - 112x1 (code) try different values such as 3 or 4 this may resolve your issue.

No, in my case it's the steering box or suspension. Alredy played with that and made no difference.
