I'm picking up my S3 brace tonight (part number A8L9 805 629A (just incase you'd forgotten since page 7.

Cost me about £55 from Oxford Audi which seemed more than others on here. I'll do photos of the fitting so you can share my pain. Bound to flock it up at some point so may be some amusing photos included. I don't know if I can post the fitting guide on this site, if not I'll put them on:

Chris S3 no is A8L9 805 629 A ,TT no sent out 8NO 805 629 B,dealer just ordered another one and when it arrived yesterday no was also wrong.Main stores are checking how many are wrong,will get a update on Monday.How did you fix the rivets,as they are very loose in the holes? Andy.

Ok seem to have the correct Strut brace according to part no etc.

There is a welded bracket on one side of the brace etc ???

Does this fit anyway or have users ground or cut it off etc, no one on the threads mentions this bracket etc ???

I think there is a bracket on one side only,Rog or i will double check tomorrow ,don't cut it off it fits fine as is .I think it might be there for slightly different piping on S3 ,but not needed on Leon,doesn't get in the way though.Happy drilling Andy
