SEAT Sport FMIC Diagram

i have recently posted this in a thread but thought that it might be of benifit to everybody!

got this diagram from my local stealer (Droitwich, Worcs), thought i'd share it to make the FMIC conversion pricing, installation process etc a lot easier!

was told if i quote the illustraion No: 145-46 , then the item number, parts can be quoted for & ordered.

the actual SEAT part number for the SEAT Sport FMIC is: 6LL145804 ,
which i was quoted £262.85 + VAT (£308.85)

has any1 replaced the ristrictive plastic tube where numbers 8 and 10 are on the diagram also there is a sensor in that part further toward the throttle body how have people gone about keeping this and it still working and in a tight seal still??? (sensor is part number 23 on diagram)

is this the intercooler setup used on a standard cupra?
i thought the standard FMIC was smaller?

nope the seat sport fmic is used on the cupra the smic is used on the fr

whats the diameter of the FMIC inlet & outlets, with regard getting silicone hose to fit?

ive got all measurements written down somewhere bear with me

Isn't that sensor a MAP sensor?

thought it would be an air temperature sensor, as its after the FMIC?

i may be wrong!

wouldn't the MAP sensor be on the inlet manifold?

i thought it was a temp sensor but wernt sure all i know is its in the way

iirc, that sensor is on item 9 on the SMIC setup.

rash, couldn't you use item 9 from the SMIC setup and replace the restrictive item 8 with ali & silicone of your choice!

yeah looks like he hasnt re fitted the sensor by the look of the piping off the car!

replacing that restrictive part i would need to sort something out with the temp sensor still

that graph isnt exactly what my piping looks like anyway but the setup is exstreamly simillar

If you look at page 3 in the forge pdf about their FMIC is that not the sensor?

See if you can buy that piece of pipe off forge.

the map sensor does have a home on modded pipe then! il have to nag forge for the part seperate when i FINALLY get the car back

they sell the kit to fit a SEAT sport FMIC, its £230 for 3 bits of ali tubing and 4 or 5 bits of silicone!
