this has probably been asked a million times before but how do you reset the service warning light? my mk4 ibiza tdi went for a 10,000 mile service last week and the garage obviously never reset it because today the service warning has come up saying it needs an oil change! any idea?

Take it back to the garage, ask them to reset it and ask for a valet for the inconvenience. Thanks LC Charles SEAT, Crewe!

welcome to scn

it is in your owners maual i think mate :)

Check your manual but I did mine recently and I had to turn ignition on push down and hold the mileage counter reset for 10 secs. After that let go, turn ignition off and start the car. The service symbol should of gone! Each car is probably different though!

had a fiddle and sorted now. i had to put the ignition on hold down the milleage reset button thing and turn it to the right at the same time untill the spanner went. start the car and away we go. just got to sort my abs out next!!
