I've had a Toways short USB-Lightning cable (6 inch) now for a few weeks, gets a thumbs up from me. 
The Lightning plug is angled and at only 6 inches it keeps everything neat and tidy when connecting your phone to the car. The connection is a little firmer than others I've had, and so far it's performed flawlessly, unlike others which occasionally would wriggle free.
£3 from Ebay, well worth it IMO.
