i got told what DEANO is saying by the mechanic at the garage that told me i needed shortened shocks. I still have the adjuster cup in and when the car was up on the ramps the spring still became dislodged (it actually hit the mechanic on the shoulder as he walked under the car) hence the reason why i had to get shorter dampers, i replaced them at the weekend and they actually make the car handle a lot better, seems to be stiffer at the back end.

i removed the adjuster completly out the back the shocksarent whats making your car too high its the adjuster cup that sits under your spring

and as for the gargage saying your springs "fell out" this is normal if you have lowered springs as they are shorter they just sit between the axle and the chassis ;) unless rusted through or snapped or twisted the spring never needs to be replaced! (unless standard1's fell out

anyway they done you a favour making you buy coilovers heres my rear end without adjusters ;)

does look so much better, but if you like country roads like me then iadvise youmodify the adjusters as the springs COULD jump out if you went over a big bump fast enough
Pretty old message but do you remember how did you modify the rear adjuster?

The rear adjuster is 2 parts. The main body which bolts to the bottom of the rear beam and then the adjuster platform that you use to adjust height

If you want to go as low as you safely can remove the adjuster ring completely but retain the main bolted body. This way your springs will stay in place.

I would recommend not to remove the main bolted body as this is very dangerous as the spring can fall out and is an instant MOT fail

I have already removed the adjuster ring, but it’s not as low as his ibiza so I thought maybe he modified somehow the main body of the adjuster.. But yea the spring is already so loose when i jack my car up that I think I’m just gonna leave it like that. And I have jom coilovers so maybe he had some other coilovers.
