Its compliant as its within the scope of the FIA S2000 Rules, they'll just remove its flat floor and take off a bit of weight and it will be identical to the cars that they already race here.

No doubt they'll get slapped with a weight penalty though for introducing a 3rd car, whether or not they put that on Thommo's car or offload it onto Turners, i don't know.

Offloading it onto Turner is favourite, but he's too much of a gent to use the extra weight to punt Neal into the gravel :p

Email sent, already have ticket in my grubby paws, looking forward to a good weekend - see you all there.

Thommo should study this picture from Luffield Corner last year (WTCC), and work out the necessary trajectory to fire Neal into the gravel

id rather all three of them fight for front rows, would be fantastic if they snatched a 1,2,3 in one of the races.

The more points they can take away from Neal and Team Dynamics the better. As much as I hope Plato can win the drivers championship, I think that he is only going to win it, if Neal has a mare of a weekend.

But as JP was quoted a couple of weeks ago, its Neals championship to lose, the pressure is squarely on Matt's shoulders.

Excellent news. :D

James and Darren are very clean drivers though, so if they can lock out the top 3 and leave Neal stuck down in the pack with the likes of Mr Collard and co, then who knows what might happen. ;)

lmao.....my nine year old will have more than a few ideas for Mr P on the saturday night......I am thinking he will be the youngest person at the evening!!! but probably knows all most as much as the rest of the people there.......I have never known a child so into cars and motorsports as he is!

Bit more info, i am lead to believe:

There will be no weight penalty applied to the third car, because SEAT are classed as registering 3 cars/drivers at the start of the year, hence the different car numbers.

James and Darren will start the weekend with the same success ballast, based on James's current position in the championship, which is 5th so they will have an extra 9kgs applied to the base weight on both cars. Jason will carry an extra 36kgs on top of the base weight, as he is 2nd in the championship.

James's car will race at Valencia this weekend, stop briefly at SEAT Sport in Barcelona for a quick re-fit and come overland to the UK ready for Silverstone.

The front will be yellow, but the rest of the car will be in Red Bull / WTCC colours.

:)

I'm in on this one :D will be my only race meet of this year, can't believe I have missed them all  walks off in shame to buy his tickets :)
m0rk think you got a mail from the misses :D

How about a convoy for those heading up the A34 from Newbury and the South. We could hook up a little way North of the Chieveley Junction with M4, and then make "stately" progress up to Silverstone. Any takers?
I'll attempt to get up earlier this year and join you at Abingdon North. Are you taking your cute son again? S'pose I'll have to make some attempt at cleaning the car............

I'll be heading there from J2 on the M5 and have to meet someone heading from Telford on route so I'm sure we can sort something out.

I'm not sure about timings yet though.

So i guess you did win over the wife with the camping idea then

e-mail sent looking forword to it

Does anyone know if I will be able to book one more ticket, or will the system get confused if I send in another order? Basically mate has decided he wants to come down now so need to book one more.
