SOLD - Crafoo's Mk2 LCR Speed Blue - Meet the successor!

Really easy mate to be honest, there is a guide somewhere in the Mk2 section which I looked at before I tackled it but then quickly found out it's different lol, wish I'd done my own now.
Basically there is one crosshead screw holding the plastic trim in place (if you look at the 2nd pic it's just up and right of the fog light) undo this and then pull the trim from the side you took the screw out (there are a couple of retaining clips top and bottom that will pop out as you pull)
Once you've removed the trim grab the fog and twist it anticlockwise (there are a bunch of plastic mouldings that sort of fit together kind of like a jigsaw) once lined up it will allow you to remove the fog light from the bumper.
Once it's out you'll see a clamp that you need to unscrew which will allow you to separate the lens from the rest of the housing

Got my bonnet liner replaced on Friday and had the "fix" applied, really happy this got changed as the old one looked really scabby and let the car down after it had gone all mouldy and saggy from water ingress.

REVO Air Filter
Hi Pal,
I'd highly recommend getting the REVO air filter, I've spoken to a handful of people who reckon they give the best flow throughput. Considering they are designed to take the car up a stage 4 map (550bhp plus) then I'm sure it will be more than adequate for whatever you decide to do in the future.
As for the sound... awesome mate! who needs a dump vavle! lol people here you coming up the street when it gulps in the air and lets the excess back out, woooosh!
If I can make it to the meet next week I'll take you out for a demo.

I know a couple of guys on here running the Evoms system and I was quite impressed with that but I've heard a lot of good things about the Revo kit and I'm really leaning towards it, shame it's a fair bit more expensive but I think if I'm going to be spending quite a bit on one then I have to give the Revo one serious consideration.
I'd love to come along for a demo mate if you do manage to get to the meet
New boots ordered for the front, a pair of Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's soon to be fitted to replace the current Hankook Evo Ventus which have been pretty good, quite pleased with their performance and would happily go back but having read the reviews on many a website the Goodyears got the nod.
They bloody good mate, especially in the wet. Its the wear I'm now keeping my eye on as they have quite a soft compound.
Not yet lol. The grounds a bit wet now so they won't wear as quick, I'm just hoping they last a while as most say they were quickly. At £100 a corner tho they are pretty great value.

The tyres were advised on the recent MOT so I thought I'd get some bought as the weather is starting to turn, I opted for Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's after reading many good reviews.
Also the wipers have started squeaking a little when they do a pass so I thought I would get some replacements and decided to give these new Michelin stealth wipers a blast, keen to see how they get on, Michelin do some good tyres so I'm hoping the wipers are in the same league

Tyre Choice
I recently did a lot of research into tyres as I'm changing all four on mine while I'm having Revo 3 work done. There were several tyres that I initially went for being all season ones, problem is they were all intended for the American market and weren't available over here.
The all season tyres are a cross between summer and winter ones. The tread pattern is mostly similar to the summer tyres although they also have a number of deep cut sipes in the tread like the winter versions.
Speaking to Michelin and Goodyear they both said the all season tyres are not generally sold in the UK due to the difference in climate, the UK winter is pretty bad and the all seasons aren't really designed for our climate. A shame because some of them look awesome.
So really I was left with two choices, buy another set of summer tyres or splash out on winter ones. Well given the time of year, weather is **** now so I went for the winter ones being the Michelin Alpin PA4 which for the UK market reviews came out top of the league.
I'll be able give my verdict on them when I get Kung Fu back from the garage in a weeks time!
I don't exactly plan to drive about in the snow but it's more the silica compound that is added to the rubber mix with a winter tyre which stops the rubber from hardening up too much in the colder temps. I also had to consider maximum possible grip given the output of the engine I'm soon going to have. My only concern is whether I will get more torque steer with winter tyres although I imagine the grip will hopefully be a lot better.
