What size is your breather filter as i havn't got one yet??
 
Breather filter? Is that the small one down bottom of engine bay (I am Dutch by the way)?

If you are talking about that one then I don't remember. Where I bought it they had 2 sizes small and large. I took large and slided (or is it slid??) it over the OE plastic pipe. But I guess you could join it with a piece of silicone or whatever else too.

By the way my TIP is not a forge tip...didn't want to spend that silly money...
 
well fitted my filter last night sounds really good just got some slight adjustments to do and got to fabricate someting to support it

Right had a busy weekend tidying up the engine bay and adding things

Added the jetext filter
fabricated a braket to stop it moving around

Replaced all vac tubes with blue silicon ones

N249 Bypass done

Stainless steel battery cover
Fusebox relocated!!

As above i have had a busy weekend and here are the pics of my work!!

Wasn't helped by the flat tyre i got on friday night screw in the tyre :(

Rolling on 2 inch wheel with 20mm spacers i think it needs 50mm hahaha!!:D

Anyway after i sorted that out with a new tyre on saturday :( I got to work on the stuff id planned

1) Replaced all the vac tubes with silicon alternatives and carried out the N249 bypass

2) Fabricated a bracket to hold my new jetex filter in place its not solid as a rock and doesn't look to bad either!!!

3) Relocated the fusebox and added a nice shiny battery cover

Im very pleased with it all the bracket looks nice and holds the cone well, and the DV now makes a much sharper noise!

Plans now!

Think im going to move the DV to the cold side of the engine What do i need to do this do you just block the hole going into the chrge pipe??

Possibly a THS intercooler aswell!!
 
revo recon a standard one with stage 1 will run 206bhp so with all my bits id hope a bit more but doubt it!!
 
Just thought id post up some pictures of my old car its a mk5 polo my previous pride and joy (money pit) loved it but was time to sell it and move on

Update

Got some bits on there way!!!

got an oild catch tank to fit just waiting on the hoses!!! have fabricated a bracket already!

Forge TIP

FMIC will be on order in a few weeks

Jabba Heast sheild possibly

Will update you when the bits start arriving and start to get fitted



Quick question though, what silicon hose does everyone use to replace the rubber hoses on the charge pipe, i dont mean the dv hose i mean the thinner ones?? your help would be great on this!!
