I was being ever so slightly sarcastic Brummy, i do claim to have some wit and a sense of humour, i meant to type ME as in he put me straight. :cartman:

This is a forum, which I personally liken for its factual content, and though i truly commend the actions and train of thought of Mr Corp, I also think quite highly that statements made on the forum should at least be useful, and factually correct.

Assumption and hearsay are not useful, in my opinion.

I bloke just walked past the window here at work, he looked kind of shifty to me  I might shop him in to the law before he does who knows what. Extreme maybe, but its the same kind of statement.

I've never had wheels stolen, though ive had things of mine stolen and car's broken into, and been the victim of crime.

Corps ... FYI,..no i wouldnt do that, you obviously 'dont know me'.... i would kill if i had 100% pure evidence...... but untill then .. id be a little lapdog..( brummy as a lapdog..sheesh !! THERES a weird image.....) but going on a forum causing a 'stink' about conjecture and hearsay is not the 'done thnig'...;)

Before this ends up into a criminolgy and human rights debate, the question was "has anyone had their wheels stolen", if not, no need to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

dude, as a rule of thumb... NORMALLY if anyone on a site gets 'owt' nicked .. they will put a thread up onsite themselves........ its just weird that someone comes in and assumes cos summats a bit suss the they are deffo nicked.......

i had an attempted theft, and they managed to remove to wheel nuts. thing is i drove to work the next day and ended up pulling over to find my wheel hanging on by one nut and had snapped the 3rd stud off the hub.

my mate had someone try to nick his wheels off his 205 gti whe we were younger, they manged to get 3 bolts off before he cam out and left his girlfriends house. 4 up and 10 minutes down the road he heard a noise as his rear wheel overtook him and subsequently rolled the car, luckily they were all ok.

Look, lets get this straight. I am not assuming anything is deffo nicked. Like everyone is saying, innocent until proven guilty, dude!

I agree with you Brummy, I am not condoning in anyway criminal actions, I think corps made another assumption there. :p

If someone is proven to be a thieving toe-rag, they deserve a good kicking and a severe sentance. Im no fan of the judicial system of this land, its a farce most of the time.

But I am a firm believer in innocence before guilt, unless proven otherwise. IN the extreme sense if we hang just anyone, without first substantiating the evidence and proving the guilt, then were no better than the criminals.

I think corps made another assumption there - are you sure about that? I am not assuming anything about you. I have asked a question, just need answers to the question, that is all.

Corp.. need? WHY exactly do you 'need ' to know.. and also you ask the question, therefore 'assuming' that the wheels *may* have been stolen, then say that you believe in innocent untill proven other wise... a contradiction in terms there dont ya think??
