more work from the weekend:
bought a BMW eaton inlet, it's the only one that fits lol, and a couple of other silicon bends, must have spent nearly £300 on silicon

Is the ibiza going to be running on some kinda base map, or are you able to road real time map it with the megasquirt?? Good to see its all finally coming together. Final student loan installment in 2 weeks Chris, so you could maybe spend it on some LSD (no, not that, Limited Slip Diff) depending on the power output.
Last thing, not power related, have you got any HIDs yet?? After loving them so much on the valver, I bought some for my Polo. And to say that the difference is amazing would be an understatement. And at £40 delivered it would almost be rude not to. Also they look cool as penguins piss

yeh i've got HIDs mig, had them on for ages, i get my bonus next week so more money aswell 
in terms of the megasquirt, it's got a base map on it already, and then eddy and nando will live map it while driving it back to mine. or they'll live map it and i'll pick it up the day after. the whole megasquirt installation and mapping (inlcludes wiring a completely new loom) takes about 12 hours, eddy does it in one day.
you'd think there'd not be much to go mig, but finding an inlet for the charger is proving difficult, and we're going to have to re-route air filter, because at the moment it is behind the fan / radiator. Not a very good cold air feed lol.

The "base map" is just to start and idle to normal operating condition. PCM speed/load sites are then optimised for good drive feel. The car is then returned to owner for their feedback and then further refinements can take place if required.
Has any1 got some drawings and measurements of the s'charger brackets that i could possible pinch please??
we'd need to see what charger you got theres loads of different types of eaton m45's and m62's.
the only difference between yours and mine is the screw shapes, and that soon mine will have a 19% smaller pulley (nice increase in boost )

Black teflon rotors inside it, i didnt know about the smaller pulley though, would the JCW pulley fit my 'charger? if i can get hold of 1
it's gna be a push to get it ready for no-rice mate, i might pop down in the bad boy micra, or get a mate to bring me in his polo
my 19% pulley arrived, much much smaller than the original, should make things more difference, but nando asked somebody to press it on to the charger today, and they ****ed it up, buckling the outer ring, i'll get some pictures of the damage hopefully, means another one has had to be ordered, putting things back next week, might be a midnight at nandos house next saturday night for it to be done for springfest lol

Gutted mate, did it damaged anything else, charger still ok? Still think you will make it down to pod on sunday?? Im struggling to get my car sorted, cant get my indicators off, or strip my teledials and now its started to rain!

yeh it WILL be ready for Springfest, as nando wants it out of his garage lol, it's been in there 5 weeks haha. The charger wasnt damaged, thank god
Good stuff, I will see you there!! Would have been a crazy expensive mistake by that guy!! Im not sure I will have my teledials sorted by then looks like I'll be rolling round standard.
