Supercharged Mk2 Ibiza - pictures from holland 14/7/09

How's the car mate and when you coming back to finish it off? Ed still needs to do some mapping and I need to sort out the intake run and boost ruturn.

i found this thread on google looking for supercharged ADL´s. i think there are none in germany (where i live :) so i landed here. i´m going to get an ibiza or cordoba 1.8 16v after my gt tdi died :(
i work at mercedes so i got an eaton m45 charger for free.. so 1+1 = supercharged ibiza :) after building and driving some nice vw´s (golf mk1 turbo D,polo mk1 g40...) now it´s time for a nice seat. now some questions:
do you use the g60 digifant injection? standard pistons & conrods? how did you get the compression down? plate? where did you get the holders and inlet/outlet parts? selfmade? do you have any plan of it?

that would help me much for now

hi mate, one question, how high up on the hit list did i come up on google lol?

i used Volvo green top Injectors, i thought they were cossie green tops, but the ebay seller was bending the truth. The compression was lowered by 2 G60 (PY) Head gaskets and it is indeed running standard pistons and conrods. The outlet plate was a custom job, and i've got the template somewhere, i'll see if i can get the image for you with the dimensions. It fitted almost perfectly, just a bit of drilling to the plate was needed. The Inlet was a pain in the arse, i cant remember what part we used for it. And the brackets were custom made, i cant weld, i left these to the guy that did the car :D

i think on the first google page in the middle.. so you just use 2 gaskets and no plate between them? green injectors? but what ecu and where did you get the software? an image of the stuff would be great! what fuelconsumption at what bhp´s do you have? i think it´ll be enough :) just for information.. who did you mounting brackets? could he do another? ;)

is your´s up and running?
 
mine was up and running, had some driveshaft issues, and the MOT has expired so i'm working on it SORN at the moment, MOT in january i reckon

Megasquirt was used as the ECU, its completely customisable, and the mapping isnt perfect, but it still pulls so well through every gear. There are images in this thread mate, going to have to search through the 21 pages im afraid. I'll see what i can find though, as my laptop doesnt have all the images

and in terms of making another bracket, apparently the M45 was the biggest pain in the arse ever, so doubt it. If it helps it's mounted where the AirCon pump was

nice pics. but the "video" is just a pic. do you have a link to the video?
and did you do the map by yourself? can you send it to me?
 
alpinewhite - 16x7.5

crezz - got a m0rksport bonnet, adds 30bhp, and the grille is off atm, took the passenger headlight out to cut out the front of the battery tray, the intercooler pipework pushes the headlight out atm, so trimming the battery tray will stop it doing that :D
