I have but not with me. I basically removed air con pump and made custom alternator brackets to drop charger down to where air con used to be. Then made more custom brackets for charger mounting. It still runs standard belt!!! easy for spares and cheap too!
I wouldn't recommend anyone to try conversion if you trying to do a cheap conversion (extras soon add up) and you will need fair bit of trial and error so your car may be off road for a while. BUT i did my homework and with help from a very useful uncle carried out full converion in 2 days!!!!
I'd like to see those to!!
Is there absolutely no way you can mount the charger without losing the air con?
good lad, you're Mercing arent you? Kompressor out of a merc (which some thing is an M62)? cos you've got an ABF aint ya?
lot of questions lol, will be good to have a couple of charged ibizas
Yeah, M62 from a CLK Kompressor. Been told M45 isn't as suited to the ABF.
Will have to get one of the mags to do a feature. Two charged Ibizas![]()
mine runs m45 ok! and if u try and fit a larger charger than that to an ABF good luck! i had to loose one radiator fan, trim cowling, etc to make M45 fit! any bigger will be a nightmare!
golf+ wanted to feature mine last year (again) but i never got back in touch as rest of car needed some TLC!
7000rpm with 2:1 pulley radio = 14000rpm on charger which is ok.
it says on the Eaton website that the M45 is for 2.0l to 2.5l engines lol
