the noise is much more satisfying than the power LOL! mine sounds like raw sex! turns everyones heads - old, young, male, female, makes everyone in the road stop and stare LOL!

i used a dump valve because i wanted the noise LOL!

The only disadvantage i can see from using a re-circ / boost retrun system is that as air passes through the charger it is heated (as a by-product of compressing it). If you then take this heated air and dump it back into the system before the charger it will have to go back through charger and be heated again. so you are constantly re-heating air that you ideally want as cold as possible

So with chris' FMIC setup and a CAI it shouldnt use a problem using a DV??

Acronym city heh

ermm i'll get nando to show me the vlavle that he'll be using, i dont think it's a boost return beduase as mentionned before the boost return only puts hot air back into the system. I'd want some kind of wastegate etc

Thats why i went for an atomspheric dump valve. If you can put up with the noise its the way forward in my eyes!

but if you running a FMIC, etc to cool the air wouln't be as much of an issue but every little helps!

I will also be runnign a jacked up bonnet (as before) and prob loose the inside two head lights to give nice cool air flow through and around engine

you mean bonnet stand off? yeh i'm thinking about that

i'll ask nando about the valve m0rk, as i dont quite understand what it's doing, whether its a wastegate, dump valve or other

i basically used bout 15 washers each side and longer bolts to jack up back of bonnet about one inch from standard close. Looked the dogs danglies and helped with under bonnet temps!

Cost me £1.50 to do! Be warned though, every time you go to fill up with fuel some one will say 'your bonnets open mate' LOL!

The valve is like a DV but only bigger(more flow), most DV's use 20mm 'T' feed pipes, this valve uses 44mm! SSSSSSSSSShhhhhhhhhhhhhhh LOL plus it gives you the option of returing the intercooled air back into the system.

got my my wheels today aswell
