After a month (birthday in between = money) I'd bought some TA Technix Coilovers and some Keskin KT5's in 15x8, they were 5x100, but some hubcentric adaptors sorted that out, meant the offset became 0 tho

By now i had been planning something big after seeing a thread on edition38, i wanted to supercharge the ibiza. Not been done before, to this engine and body combination anyway. I went scouting for many parts, below are the parts that got the ball rolling, there were many more bits to come

Eaton M45 Supercharger, John Cooper Works Charger, this has slightly different shaped screws to the 5th Gen M45 and other M45 chargers

nothing ever goes according to plan tho, whilst all of the supercharging was bieng planned and money being saved up, the builders next door decided to do this with a digger, was lucky it wasnt worse really. They paid up tho as it happened on my drive, their liable and they owned up to it, which was a bonus:

One problem with the Eaton Charger was that unless on a BMW there isnt really an outlet that will accept silicon hosing, so i had to make a template, then find someone to make it

Template (ghetto student Xbox edition)

that was just the base plate, there needed to be something to funnel the boost, to get a better flow, so i got drawing:

to get the design i wanted was going to cost a bomb, so Ben - Ibiza_95 on here - said he could make me one for a very good price out of stainless, and here it is:
EatonOutlet1.jpg

very good quality, and really pleased with it

I thought i would also upgrade my interior, wanted a new head unit, aswell as some comfier seats, that sat a bit lower. TT seats would have been ideal but i found this bargain Mulberry VR6 Interior for £250, with NO marks

took the back seats out as i didnt need them, the car was too low aswell lol, i went to halfords and had some paint mixed so that i could spray the boot and get it colour coded, really pleased with it:

i had also bought some new wheels, i gave them a trial fit:

The Megasquirt had now been assembled, all that was needed now installation and mapping (easier said than done):

it was all coming nicely, i had also decided / persuaded that buying a smaller pulley while the charger wasnt mounted and putting it on while the cahrger was out was much easier than putting it all together, then buying the pulley, having to remove the charger (alot of effort) and then remapping. so i bought a 19% smaller pulley, the smallest available, it also turns out that the Mini Cooper S and Ibiza share the same Crank pulley diameter so there was no problem there of over revving the charger and messing it up (very expensive)

I also had the Petrol Cap pinstriped, i think it looks awesome and is very different:

This is how i left the car last week, after having put all the wheels on (with tyres) changed the front brake discs and pads, and fixed my broken ABS sensor (cut one off a mk4 golf, and soldered it on):

this thread has taken me about 30 mins to do, it's a monster, there'll be plenty of updates as it's not finished yet, i've got to order a slimline radiator fan, and some more bloody silicon lol, must have spent about £300 on silicon hosing. I can safely reccomend SFS performance though

this should be done in the next 10 days, but as i've learnt, NEVER HAVE A DEADLINE

for those interested the predicted bhp and lbs/ft figures (with original pulley at 8-9psi boost) were 210bhp and 190lbs/ft, we dont know what it'll be now though, with the new pulley i could possibly see 1BAR (14-15psi) which could maybe see 230bhp? i'm not sure, it'll be rolling roaded as soon as it's finished tho

not bad for a 20 year old student lol

enjoy!!!

cheers for the comments guys, i cant wait to get it back, had to order a new slimline fan as there was a clearance issue with the charger inlet, all will become clear with some pictures, which i'll take when i next see the car. Eventually i'll buy 2 x 9" blower Spal Radiator fans, then i can do what i want behind the radiator lol

some people planning a similar project might be interested in this but to get the car how it's sitting in the last pics, wheels, interior etc has cost me £4100. that's so far, inc the engine work

might possibly be buying a 15" Directed Electronics Sub though and a Vibe VP4 Mono Amp for it soon, need bass in my life.

Updates soon. Maybe a video aswell
