Suspension set up

Hi All,
I've finally found a garage that can set up the front cambers for a reasonable price (cant beleive I've spent the best part of 3 years changing tyres instead of doing this.)

All I need now is to know what the correct camber settings are for the front suspension on the TDI Cupra.

Does anybody know????

Standard suspension or aftermarket? I'm asking because AFAIK there's little adjustment possible to camber, etc on the standard Cupra TDI suspension. The tyres on my car were seriously unevenly worn when I bought it hence I got the alignent checked.

I've got a place I trust, and he set up my Cupra TDI with 0.4deg negative camber and 0°05 toe in (i.e. slight neg camber and slight toe-in), just after I got my new tyres fitted. 4k miles later the tyres seem to be wearing evenly.

The place used the "Hunter DSP600" laser alignment machine/computer which had a database of correct settings for cars. Mine was set to the figures for "SEAT: Cordoba/Ibiza (2002-), Cordoba (2003-): Sport Suspension (G17, G18, G19, G20, G21, G24, G25, G26)" which he said included the Cupra TDI.

The above values are about what I expected the car to be set to. I previously had a Clio 172 on coilovers and ran a more aggressive set-up: 1.5deg neg camber and 0°10 toe OUT. Made for great handling and very sharp turn-in, but not so good for straight-line m'way cruising and tyre wear...

Great Stuff a11y, it's the Cupra TDI running standard suspension.

I'll give this a wirl and see what the tyres are like in 4K-6K.
