Pmac2k you forage threw the Spanish thread mentioned in the thread, I guess looking for 368 now... that is where the thread was getting it's info from and standard firmware downloads from memory. The firmware for the units isn't sold onto customers. It's only offered by the dealer where there is a software bug which effects the functionality. Not provided free where you fancy your car looking like the layout of newer firmware now fitted... for that DIY or retrofitters. A case in point is they colour coded the display of the
Ateca to match the chosen interia side lights circa 2018 models on the high unit atleast. Nice touch but I wasn't told. Only got that when a retrofitter upgraded the firmware. Like the engine management software you get a free upgrade if a fault is found. Pretty screen colour coordination of the screen to the interia lights isn't one. DIY beware thou... never did a firmware upgrade myself but there will be pitfalls, VCDS programming I'm sure since stuff defaults back.
