Anyone?

What have i done? Need quick answers people. All i did was take out the clocks to see if i could change the bulbs. Thought it was too much hassle, now i've plugged everything back in and the immobiliser warning light comes on and beeps? What the hell have i done?

You should only have the air bag light on, not an immobiliser issue.
Try disconnecting the earth at the battery for a few minutes making sure you have the radio code ;)

The "bulbs" are SMD leds and very tiny ;)

double check you've pushed all the wires back in. What did you do to the clocks when you took them out? I wonder if lack of power could reset the clocks. I know on most cars the transponder is coded to the clocks and the ECU, so you could've knocked out the coding. Did you do anything to the ignition barrel/key in the same time period? Could be you did something to one of those accidentally at about the same time. Ring a dealer and ask to speak to servicing if you can't find any problems on the clocks keys or ignition barrel. See if they offer any other solutions. Likely they wont but they might.

Nope, now the epc and eml lights don't come on, and this immobiliser light just flashes and beeps, and the car won't start

Nope, no other things were touched

You need to recode the key mate, have you got the key without buttons? That will start it.

Jimski

Key without buttons in the ignition on the 2nd click, or at least till all the lights on the dash come on without starting the engine. Key with buttons keep in your hand, get out of the car, then you lock and unlock manually whilst holding one of the buttons which is either lock or unlock, i cant remember.

You only have 30 secs to do this.

You really need to explain more about whats happened.

Have you tried using the key that has no buttons on it? What happened?

Have you tried re-coding? What happened?

Put the key with no buttons in the ignition, then tried to lock and unlock with the key with the buttons, but it won't do either. Is the re a certain way to lock/unlock with the key in the lock?

Try reading the above again.

It is all in the manual as well.

Yes you have securing clips you have to "unclip" befoe the two sockets can be removed, they have snapped shut again?

Yep clips are definately snapped shut.

I can't even lock on the key though. Can you tell me, in basic terms, how to lock and unlock the car with the key in the lock, cos nothing is happening with mine?
