curbed the freshly painted wheels !

gutted! spent the last week refurbing my alloys , painting them myself, and was well happy with the result, until i lent my mate the car to just pop down the shop and yes you guessed it , curbed it [:@] not even 24 hours......
lesson learnt don't lend your car to anyone !

Gutted, i don't let anyone drive my car purely because of this. People take the p*ss out of me for taking corners wide and parking a mile away from the kerb, but it keeps them unkerbed.

not all bad the friend who damaged them works with me and has offered to re prep the wheel for me in the week, so this time next week it will be all forgotten! will post up some pictures of them soon as i get a chance.

I even only let certain mates sit in my car, and never ever ever ever ever let anyone else dirve it! Ever!!! If they want to drive a Leon, then they should buy one :cartman:

Some people who don't have cars just don't understand the amount of effort we put into to keeping our cars nice & clean [:@]

brabus wheel arch extensions

since the Porsche wheels have been on have been a bit worried about getting a tug by the law for the amount of poke the wheels have, so decided some sort of wheel arch trim was in order,
found a set of brabus wheel arch trims on ebay off a smart for two brabus for £30 so ordered them up. wasnt a perfict fit but after a little bit of modding and this is the end result

the only way i was able to mount them was double sided tape, but i had to fill the inside of the arch with filler first as they are a hollow mould, was kinda trial and error but worked out ok in my opinion.

Not a fan of them, but if you're happy thats what matters. Why not bring wheels in closer, how much room you got between strut and wheel?

cant really go in more as they will rub the strut and there 10j wide, as for why smart car arches? they was cheep no real loss in the pocket if i bin them if they look poo!
going to trim them up a bit more to try and get a tighter fit.
