temp gauge & light on buzzer

couple of quick questions guys:

my temperature gauge has been up and down for the last few weeks (would work fine then drop down to zero then back up to normal temp.). It doesnt work at all now! any suggestions what it could be? a loose cable somewhere?

when i leave the lights on and open the door the buzzer no longer comes on resulted in a flat battery a few weeks back! any ideas on this one too?

Temp sensor faulty?
Has the buzzer got a fuse, or it could be a faulty buzzer.

thanks for the reply, how do i check if the sensor is faulty? also i dont know if there's a fuse for the buzzer lol...can anyone else help please?

sounds like it is a little round red light hat beeps 3 times?

a quick search will reveal all my friend.
for ease, open coolant tank, (blue lid & orange/pinkish liquid in white bottle), and scrape the prongs gently

can i just scrape the sensor with my fingers?

if that makes no difference will it def be the sensor that needs changing? i really dont have a clue so any adive appreciated!

You nee to remove what is stopping the signal, use anything providing it cleans it.

Use a flat blade screwdriver if your finger fails to clean it.
