Cheers for the massive quote ah ha! Yeah love the colour of my car....bloody hard colour to match when getting resprayed though. I need to get a new gear knob and new handbrake gatior as the standard ones are pretty shocking!!

Flipping a KA? ah well that's one less of the road eh? Never liked em (but then again it's better than walking) hope you were/are ok though. Did you say you have a bezza now??

Looking into suspension, not sure whether to get just lowering springs or spend more and get a whole lowering kit (coilivers) - ADVICE PLEASE!! :)

New radio sounds really good in my car, speakers can handle it too :)

personally i would just stick some 17s on it and it should look good, look at Chris A 73's readers ride, his car is not lowered with 17s and i think it looks good imo. I know i am stressing this point again, but remember this is your first car, it is only a 1.2 at the end of the day, and its best not to get carried away. Better off keeping the money that would be spent on coilovers/springs and putting in bank account towards next car.

personally i think you could get yours looking good without having to go to the expense of changing the bumpers. If you change the wheels and get the handles, wing mirror covers and side rubbing strips colour coded, it would look fine. Again, it is your first car, don't get carried away lol

Erm....well they shouldn't really be brighter than full beam.. That means that they aren't adjusted properly and are potentially dazzling on-coming traffic.

Are they H7R bulbs, or just H7? (I guess that's the type of bulb for a Leon?).

thats the damage from last night :( - cleaned her today though :) she looks lovely

Before you start modding your car I would invest in some half decent tyres! They are probably part of the reason you crashed!

Good luck with your car anyway, I remember back in the day when my mate had that exact car and I had the equivalent polo, lots of fun! :)

Yea man i was really pissed!!!!!! His fault, i was turning right and he tried to overtake but as usual the third party denies liability and so on goes the investigation. But hey im willing to take it to court as i have had a police report done and they have logged it on their systems and the copper quoted that he deems the third party vehicle to be driving without due care and attention! I have also had a accident survayor take a statement from me and he is advising me to take it all the way to court as it was completely his fault, my solicitors are also saying its his fault and wouldnt take the case on unless they thought they could win it as they have a high reputation.
(BTW the guy has changed his story 3 times now and i stated that to my solicitors and they werent too happy lol)

Cheers mate, Yea im contemplating weather or not to take it off? Im also thinking of taking the mudflaps off as i have spacers on and it doesnt really show off the stance with them on?!

nope, he isnt to bothered about his car as he wants to sell it and sort out his pick up truck he has (ive helped him out a bit with the truck )

basically i wasnt concentrating (as much as i hate to admit that, its the truth) and slammed on the brakes to late and well used his car to stop me rather than my brakes. As you know Chris i was going to get a new front bumper now, but well now i have an excuse :)

£200 to get the bumper, bonnet & wing resprayed...wasnt to bad i though, but off to another garage tomorrow to get another quote and to see if it easier to either by new parts or get it fixed

Are the panels properly damaged, ie; crushed/holes, or just dents which could be sorted by a panel beater? Best off to get second hand panels off eBay and just get them resprayed. You'll also need to get the fog lights sorted, however they aren't a legal requirement.

Like you say, at least it's a good excuse! Another Mk4, in your colour, lives near me. It's an 06 and has a facelift bumper, so obviously he's changed his as well. Looks infinitely better! :D
