I'm guessing you never had front fogs and now you want to fit them?

I think you might need to get the loom to fit them, then obviously a new interior switch to switch them on.
As Chris said though, just a few screws and they should be on/off.
 
I keep meaning to fit my fogs, I got a used pair of them for £30 and a used headlight switch with fog function for £15 and will make my loom... however, I've seen a ready made one for sale at about £35 somewhere.

The fog lights are fitted on the car at the moment but there's no wiring in place yet :lol: all you have to do is pull the grilles off and then its only 2 or 3 screws, not awkward to get at, piece of cake!
 
yeah may do :) quick question what would you recommend on an ibiza 16inch or 17inch alloys? lots of talks with friends and my dad :)lol:) and recieving mixed answers, some say 16inch would look good others say they would look to small, then others say 17's will be to big others say they will rub and others say they look good....so bloody confused!!

so simple answer please......16s or 17s? :)

16's are ok, I have16's on mine (not lowered all standard). Have a look on my rr and see what you think as I have same car as you lol.

P.s look at the last post in my rr as I have only just put them back on.
 
Okay, well, when you change alloys you HAVE TO maintain the same rolling radius of the tyre, otherwise it screws with the gearbox.

There difference for my rolling radius is 0.1% so it's SO minimal it makes no difference.

Anyway, my original alloys were 15'' and then once I moved up to 17'' I simply used a lower profile.

Also, on mine there is absolutely zero rubbing, even on full lock. Plus I think 17''s fill the arches visually, you don't need to lower your beeza.

Personally for me, 16'' are too small.

Also take into account larger wheels equals more weight and generally wider tyres which also adds strain to the gearbox.
 
Meh. Considering he's just passed, I wouldn't recommend changing body panels, alloys AND lowering. Would cost an insane amount on insurance. Performance mods gives them a chance to rape you..

Plus from the side, I really disagree about having to lower. There is still a slight gap, however with low profile and wide alloys it looks more aggressive and sporty; the reason why people usually lower it anyway..

I think it really does need lowering, maybe yours is different as its a different model... maybe diff suspension setup?
 
I got them as part of a deal with another member, he was trading in his Ibiza but had bought them and never fitted them. So I couldnt tell you exactly how much mate...
I think you can get ones for about £200 upwards...

Nah I fitted them myself :)
 
See I'd never trust myself as I've seen a few threads where they talk about how easily home-fitted coilovers can go wrong. Plus I know nothing about the actual mechanics of the car :p Refitting a washer pipe or changing a wheel is as far as I go :D

Haha! I had fitted a set on my old car so I thought I'd give it a go. Lets just say its more difficult than fitting them to a Corsa anyway! Well the fronts due to the driveshaft :p
 
I would never attempt anything like that myself! The rear suspension does look easy as its very basic set up but the front is quite complicated with drive shaft, drop links etc. Knowing my luck, i would take it appart then forget how to put it back together, thats why i get garages to do all work on car!
