hi,any help with this problem would be a great help as im moving house and have packed my owners manuals away for my Leon.

i started it up this afternoon(1st time started today) and after a few secounds there was a warning beep and then the red LED on the thermostat gauge started flashing.it was still doing this after about 1 minute.so i turned the ignition off and started it again and was fine-no flashing.

Could anybody tell me the cause of this please just so i can prevent any damage if its dangerous.

thanks

Sometimes it happens if moisture gets on the coolant sensor plug. Get some dielectric grease and treat the connections.
