yeah i know i have the fatest one they made in the 4th gen but still only 1300kg
the big ol derv engine didn't help my FR, plus this has the 4WS over the back wheels so not so much ruddy lift off oversteer :) also works out to around 155bhp pet metric tonne, which is nice :D

i drove a auto prelude( jap import) was okish but never had the 4ws

4th gen i asumeu mean like its the phase 4 version of the original

like the beeza's.

What year is it? If anything to check on them is brake pipe's as far as im aware. Just underseal them. still need to do the ibiza.

would have done it today but wana get the doc's sent off for my number plate.

yeah sorry fella bin on a lude owners forum lol, 4th gen equals mk4 facelift :D it's a 1995 and hopefully fitting uprated torox 40grove discs, mintex pads, castrol extreme 4dot and uprated lines for around £300 ;). it's gonna have a mini service an oil change when it gets to norwich. although it was done very recently i still want it to have a proper health check. but evrything on it looks mint, the guy selling it hasn't been around to drive so his dad has been using it to go to the shops back and forth to keep it runnin, he didn't even no it had a vtec and changed gear at 5000rpm bless

lol

when i was working at the garage had a guy who had the estate one with same thing

His wife was a **** teasing bitch and complained about a noise, took him out in it and down dc. he asked why it goes up to 9k on revs.

said it has btec and has a 3rd lobe on the camshaft bla bla.

Then told him if i put the foot down it goes fast basically. he said go for it show me.

So i did. loved the car afterwards. i serviced it every 5 and 10 k miles.

of course.

best motor i drove was a newish m3.

i had a brief shot of a clio v6 when at the garage when i first started with my provisonal(but my boss took me out in it and gave it one hell or a road test)

I would get the timing belt changed on it tho mate. Just for safe measure's

Was it Deer?:hide:

Sorry I meant dear?

I can understand the V-TEC sound, think you will just miss the torque a bit though.

Drive this one carefully and stay away from long straight roads in the country-side:D

honda's are good motors

i had a 87 plate accord 2.0i ex top of the range for my first car, that went but no vtec in that as it was too old

was expensive when stuff went wrong though

nice mate!

looks to have been well kept and a very good example!

the interior looks a nice place to be aswell! :D

how are you liking the honda?
any good / bad points you can tell us?

Cheers guys :D

yup the paintwork came up nice after a good polish, not bad considering it's twelve years old. Good points are the bloody adictive sound, the speed even without hitting VTEC, the sound and it handles like a beeza never could thanks to the trick limited slip diferential and 4WS :D. as for the 2.2's being pretty quick well the honda figures of 6.7 seconds 0-60 is for the UKspec 180 odd BHP with 2 passengers, full tank and 15kgs of luggage beleive it or not :-o . Mines a bit upon power but does have the added weight of the LSD so evens out, i know peeps how have got low 6s easily in there standard ludes.

bad points are.. well the after market stereo the previous owner fitted if shockingly bad and all speaker were blown :( already replaced 2 with cheapys but due to me being skint at the mo the rest will have to wait, also there are a few rattles but not as many as my old car. plus me having to learn Km/ph lol :D

i am now a named driver on it, cos i'll only be driving it wekends when i get back to work :(. but condidering it's a petrol 2.2l 200bhp jap import and i have 3 points and a write off in just over 2 years drivin. it's cost me £1100 for the year, i'm happy with that

not bad.

Have u found another job yet?
