Hi everyone this is my last ditch effort before scrapping the car, I really love my car but these faults and limp mode thing which never end are really getting on my nerves

I've been told the ECU is faulty and I need a new one, but sometimes I'm not so sure

Car is a Golf, but I'm sure you guys can help (1.8T 20v AUM - same as AUQ Leon FR/TS/Cupra)

Symptoms/History:

I have recently (3 weeks and 1000 miles ago) changed the Knock sensor as there was a fault - it cleared fine and went away.

I had rough idle problems sometimes and check engine light,

about 10 days ago EPC, ESP and Check engine lights on, and sometimes idles rough, but usually perfect

Throttle does not work for the first press after turning the car on, then after releasing and pressing again it works fine

power is very low. boost will not go above -10 inHg. car revs fine at standstill

I changed the battery after being told it may be the problem

MAF is fine, changed about 6 months ago but running the car with it unplugged makes no difference

ignition coils are all fine

I'm getting the following faults:

17972 - Throttle Actuator (J338): Under-Voltage during Basic Setting
P1564 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

(I recalibrated the throttle body and this one went away. all other symptoms remained though)

18041 - Accelerator Position Sensor 2 (G185): Signal too Low
P1633 - 35-00 - -

16621 - Manifold Pressure / Boost Sensor (G31): Signal too Low
P0237 - 35-00 - -

16727 - Camshaft Position Sensor (G40): Signal too High
P0343 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

16396 - Bank 1: Camshaft A (Intake): Advance Setpoint not Reached (Over-Retarded)
P0012 - 35-00 - -

16486 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Signal too Low
P0102 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

16490 - Manifold / Barometric Pressure Sensor (G71) / (F96): Implausible Signal
P0106 - 35-00 - -

17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)
P1297 - 35-00 - -

Readiness: 0000 0000

I'd be looking at
18041 - Accelerator Position Sensor 2 (G185): Signal too Low
P1633 - 35-00 - -

Faulty accelerator pedal switch?

problem just started suddenly, and the car responds to the throttle 100% fine most of the time - car revs ok at standstill.

any way I can test for this? VAG-COM log throttle position?

Reviving the thread again! Did you manage to solve this problem? Ive got this on my car. like theres no boost. But I know what I did. I must of cut a wire when try to fit my boost gauge when drilling the hole to feed the tube.

I do not think it is this. Before trying to put my boost gauge in. everything was absolutely perfect. so it must of been my fault as to why theres a minimum throttle response. Im just dont know where to start my fault code error is G185 Accelerator position sensor signal low P1633. Unless theres any wires on the headlight switch block that may effect this?!?!
