Bet you can't wait Tom! Spoke to my mate with q7 turbo on his golf and he loves it, said it's miles apart from the hybrids, seemed to say they are allot more tractable rather than just wanting to spin up all the time. Never experienced either myself though!

You having another shoot out for the mag feature?

Will try get some videos once it's done. The downpipe is 3", and is sleeved into my 2.5" cat back for now. Possibly looking at something a bit different though.

You've no idea how giddy I am Scott! Shame the girlfriend doesnt share my enthusiasm lol.

Not gonna say much about the feature, but Stav's wanting to squeeze it into issue 174, and 172 comes out tomorrow....

Oh, on september 17th, a few of the Fabia drivers are meeting @ the Pod. A few Jabba sport'd ones, hybrid turbo'd ones, and me!

It'd be nice to see more VAG owners there :)

I'll probably come down as well.

Few issues with surge at the moment. Were planning on running "low" boost for now until we can get our hands on a Colt stage 3 cam.

By low boost, were still talking 2.2-2.3bar lol.

Have you considered removing your WMI? After seeing your car at a show I got the same kit but haven't noticed any difference what-so-ever and it's quite a lot of added weight for no reason. Ryan @ DD advised me not to use Methanol (as he probably did you?) so it seems a bit pointless. I can't make my mind up on what to do.

Hopefully I'll have the Fabia version of this car soon. You must have spent a fortune on it! I'm looking at around the £6k mark to go to the same sort of spec. :(

Also, where did you get your brakes from? I'm running Cupra R brakes at the moment but having difficulties with heating issues, cracking discs, etc. I'd like bigger, 2-peice discs but they're £700+ on their own so may as well get a big brake kit and sell the Brembo's on I reckon.

Are you going to Castle Combe's action day?

Keeping the wmi, as the weight is next to nothing to be fair. Just going to put water in the tank, and it will only be used on excessively hot days to supress intakes a bit.

The brakes were from http://www.ksport.co.uk/.

Pretty sure that for the entire brake kit, it set me back just over £800. They are proper race orientated brakes as well.
