torque settings for lower front strut brace

as the title says do you know what the setting for the lower strutt will be?

im am putting it on this afternon with THS dog bone mount, i have the setting for that but was wondering about the strutt brace, its a S3 one

no torque settings, says "as tight as you like" ha ha.. i tightened until proper resistance was felt...

i'm actually about to do this one myself. how much is it costing these days?

From memory, one end of the brace is slotted, so unless it's torqued tight, it's as much use as a chocolate fireguard. I ~think~ I did mine up to 80 lb/ft........

thanks guys for ur input, ill give it ago at 80lb/ft and might try and search the tinterweb a little longer aswell

FT you need to collapse the riv nut and they take quite a bit of force to do that. My advise would be to start it collapsing a little off the car because it will just keep falling down as you try and tighten it on the car. You want to have to push it through the hole else the whole thing will just turn when you try and tighten.
