I've learnt the hard way mate. Thought i had finshed my ashtray pod but once it was black I realised how poor the surface finish was and had to sand it right back, in some places going back to the filler  I wont be making the same mistake again.

Right today fitted the THS FR3 Dogbone Mount must say absolutely FANTASTIC, I will put a review in the correct forum later but all I can say is WOW, no judder just smooth power delivery to the wheels.

review here http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?p=3359091#post3359091

I then fitted my new boot handle that I covered in Carbon Fibre Vinyl alongside the front grill.

The rear was a pain to do as IT DOES NOT COME APART so careful application was needed... not great but im happy till the summer.

Anyway some quick pics from today - not washed

I really like having no chrome, looks much better IMO, now to decide on those bloody mirrors

Undecided on the back badge looks out of place to me with the brighter colours

Not a fan of the black lights think the red is too bright, light smoked would be ideal like R32 rears over standard - options??? Anyone know?

Mirrors are back off again looking at doing the bottoms gloss black leaving rest silver

Below the crease black.

Will post pics in a min once I've painted them

Right changed my mind... Sure it will change again at some point.

Gone for a more subtle approach

Passenger done, yes wrinkly underneath but I'm sure with more practice I will get them sorted eventually

This over gloss black lowers?

I don't want to keep spamming your thread with "I love it" I like it" but honestly well done to you cos looks smart!

:D Cheers mate

May start a new craze, I was going to stickerbomb it but its not the look I want. When you think about it the option are endless

Looking great mate.

I love the 'S' badges the way you have done them.

Hopefully will get mine done in a couple of months or so.

Do them yourself mate, get the small 3m di noc vinyl and just make sure you have a hairdryer/heatgun and some patience

Rear one is a pain as I couldn't separate the badge but nothing massively worrying.

Just booked in @ Performance Torque a week tomorrow for my stage 1 remap.

Had a great conversation about it and was really helpful on all my questions and I learnt some new stuff aswel.

CANNOT WAIT NOW

Car is looking really good. I like what you have done to it so far!
Hopefully the weathers nice when you get the remap done. It was raining all the way home when I had mine done but was still great fun!:D

Now this being covered by birthday money and I will have some vouchers from other family members. So.... I know need another area of the LCR to look at,

Exhaust is a no, I'm not convinced either Miltek or Blue flame are worth it until I look at stage 2

I'm thinking rear ARB at the minute
