Vario immob fault 2001 model

ok, so today i have pulled the clocks out. The imob is related to the clocks.

I have noticed that there are some wiring issues such as, The handbrake warning light goes on and off when i play with the wires. The fog light is on always on the dash and switch if i jiggle the wirin it goes away. Could this be linked to my probs?

Are these earth probs????

sounds like at the least there is some connections problems to look at

only place i can think of that would have a connection to foglights and battery would be the headlight switch

is the ignition on when it's doing this ?

Yes ignition on.
think i have tracked down the handbrake warning lamp fault to the plug, its just 2 wires seperate to the main 2 plugs on the clocks.

Now cant get the foglight fault to come back though......
