wanna put a cone air filter on my cupra 20vt

i just need some advice i wanna put a cone air filter on my cupra 20vt but not sure how to do it with it having the other pipe going to air box i tried to put small filter on it and that didnt work it set off the engine management light so what do i do wiv that pipe

Ahh the secondary air intake. I had to pull the plastic bit off the top of mine to fit the small filter on.

Did you make sure the MAF was fitted back the right way round (assuming you removed it) and the MAF sensor plug was pushed in?

did you reconnect all the electrical connectors on anything you may have undone / disrupted?

yeah i made sure everything went back together right for some reason it put on the light
