Thanx mate! I think I'm not going to change the motor because all mechanisms are perfect. It's just some leak between the pipe and the nozzle. Nevermind.
Going back to the thread topic, I'm again a bit confused. Today it was raining and I just had a quick look into the boot......

Water in the middle and the corners were dry....so is it coming from the top? The only way to go in the carwash and sit in the boot with a flashlight waiting for a drop...to see where it come from. But if comes from top - it's definitely the hinge case...
Anyway Im happy that the leak is much much less....

Generally that pictures from my first post show the places I sealed. Of course additionally fixed the pipe of rear washer. I'll try to make additional pictures for you.

Frankly speaking - nothing. it seems allways dry there even when it's raining. Just the dust there was very suspicious.
These days I'm going to put back my interrior carpet. the car gets cold very fast. BTW i bought a couple of soundproofing sheets to put on the uncovered parts on the floor.

So here what i did in with the corner:
Just pushed the sealant from the inside.... sorry my camera cannot fit the hole to get the inside picture
And this is the new sealant for hinge cavity:
It seems it was just normal polyurethane sealant.
Btw my carpets are back and dry now. Finally i'm happy with the car. But still some capilar leak in the boot. I'll watch it.
What about you? do you have any news from your investigations?

Hi! Thanks for the picture.
That hole in yellow circle seems suspicious. Was there any plug or grommet? I remember I had one there. If you don't, it's quite possible to leak through when the water flows down.
What about the area marked with red? If you direct water there, do you notice any leak inside? I think should be not leaking from there...
Is your leak very strong?
Tomorrow I'm going to the carwash and sit inside and watch where the water comes from. I'll report if succeed with that.

Bad news for me after carwash. I was sitting in the boot
It seems that car is alive and opens new and new leaks.....can't understand why only left side.
So first i noticed these small drops:
I noticed also small water on the screw plug....but even 1 drop hasn't come out there.
Then understood that anyway water is still coming fom top. And this is what i had after the wash:
I'm going to reseal the hinge because there is one suspicious point... Why then the right side is always dry? - it's still a mystery.
Found one more leak that never seen before:
I think it's a small gap between the parts seam and the rubber sealant of the boot door.
So thats it. I'm tired. It becomes cold and dark outside and not so pleasant to do something with the cat. I think to continue in spring. Hope the winter will be frosty

Hmmm,not happy to hear bad news.I dont know why only in the left side is trhe problem with the water but i think that is something from construction but few of us have that problem.For example here in Romania i didnt heard someone to speak about this leak problem.

I tell u the verify again those places:for sure from there are the leaks.I put sealant there where i put blue in pictures and now water doesnt came from up but still have water in left corner.

The places you showed on the hinge cavity - I suspected too. But I wonder why the right hinge with the same gap on top doesn't leak at all??? Anyway I'm going to seal that completely to be sure.
My boot door is straight. I mean the gap from both sides. If your's not - why don't you realign it?
BTW I fond mine boot closing worse (I need to force it a bit more)... the lock seems working fine and grease is sufficient. Maybe need to adjust the eyelet....

Just to add some extra information.
Yesterday I removed the front wipers and scuttle tray to have a look for potential leak points.
there was definitely water getting in through the pollen filter casing as there was a puddle in the bottom of the fan housing. Dried this out and removed the foam seal around the filter housing and replaced it with Butyl.
Next up was to remove the puddle of water on the drivers side, a quick clean up of the draining channel and a bit of silicone around the boost gauge hose (just to make sure) I was happy.
Back on the passenger side I starting cleaning out the drainage channel, was surprized to find it totally blocked up with twigs, dirt and leaves as well as an M12 bolt that had got wedged in the drainage channel!!
This was obviously acting like a plug in a bath, which has caused the seal on the filter housing to fail through rotting, the water has then drained away by the easiest path . . . .down into the fan housing.

oh no...not that creepy clips again! I won't remove that trim anymore. I'll just seal around a hinge and thats all if not helps I'll see that in the boot.
Undertacher, Good luck with sealing your crack. Hope you'll finally fix your prblem. If not, we'll investigate further. The hole rear-left part of this car seems a real engineering bug!!!! And thats a pity

Ok listen good.U have for sure same problem like me,finaly i solved it.So look at the picture,u have to seal under the hinge,inside that hole,look with flashlite,and u ill see on the border that there is a space .U have to put sealant there.
And my problem after solving the problem at the hinge on the left was like i ll show u in next picture:

Yep. I know what you mean, and i've seen that gap. Yestersay i sealed it but not completely coz i couldn't get under the hinge too deep. But I'm still wandering why the right hinge with the same design doesn't have any leakage? By the way that design normally shouldn't let the water come inside
Anyway I give up this until it's warm outside
And concerning your problem: maybe your car was hit into that area? so thats why you have leackage there...... Have you already sealed there?

@undertacher do you still fix leak ? in hinge or upper wheel archer on the back ? and did you remove the bumper completely ? for sealing that cracks in post #98???? and is your leon DRY now ? and the water doesnt acutally come out at picture in post #95, after i sealed hinge
mine leon TS 2003 TDI got the problem on the right side ... i already sealed the hinge completely ... since this no water comes from the hinge (it seems like) i was hammering down 4 bottles water nothing came out on the c-pillar, at least not visible !
im totaly running out of ideas ... this screws me so hard
