What are the better seats, Cupra R cloth or Cupra full leather??

could go with 1/2 leather, had them in my ibiza cupra and i found them 2 be the best. not sicky in the summer, dont slide about, not cold in the winter. the best of 2 worlds.

cant u get them recoverd in leather for less than that + they do all the door cards as well??!!

That reminds me of jumping a humped back bridge in an old Vauxhall Victor with two friends in the boot (there must've been 7 of us in the car) . . the suspension didn't take it too well

Correct...

The odd set of LCR Recaro's crop up but the rear is quite unusual (as you may expect for a £1,200 option)

Its a shame as i want to keep the OEM look so to speak... and well Recaro's now days that you buy are too "Boy Racer" look.... plus the rear bench wont match the same pattern/look...

Looked at Koni and they seem the best at the mo for fitting into the look of the car... recaros and sparcos just dont look good....

Looking at the TT quattro bucket seat thou... nice, but dont know if they will fit...? RS4, RS6 seats? Decisions, Decisions....

I have the Recaros in mine and the two seater back jobbby. They look suprisingly similar to the golf ones posted by uncle fester in post 3 of this thread. I like 'em!

Just had a look on the german e bay, recaro's galour, no cupra ones but full leather golf and s4 as well as R32 cloth, prehaps i'm gonna have to go for a bit of a drive in the new year!!

i quite like the seats in the newer versions of the CTR. But favourite seats are either the ones from the Focus RS. or the pics ive seen of the new leon Cupra.

Loved everything about my friends RS.

Ive got the rear recaro bench in my LCR (swapped it with an older car) YOu can get three people in the back but at a push, i wouldnt be without them. Got one passanger side Recaro so need to find a driver side (as new is £1k plus! and its the wrong design). The recaro version dont have much dofferent but i find them far better (i have golf GTI's in the garage too)

Personally I think the Golf recaros are more comfortable ... but that's just me.

There exaclty the same tho? The only difference is the covering material (which is far thicker and nicer than teh LCR cloth). Ive got one of everything here so if anyone needs pics.

Not sure actually, couple of folks i know have the LCR recaros and they swear the golf seats are more supportive and more comfortable - you can decide for yourself at the bucks meet

I think its quality rather than being "different". My 2001 seats (golf GTI's) seem to be in as good nick as some ive seen from 2004 LCR's

Ive got the rear recaro bench in my LCR

for ppl that may care to know... seli and i were in the back of scotts car (oooo er!) a couple of weeks ago and i must say they were very nice.


but imo i wouldnt have them in my LCR for 3 reasons...


a.) not worth the money
b.) the unlucky person who sits in the middle of the rear seats will have less room and will not be comfortable and i cannot see the bolsters being happy with an adult sat on them!
c.) why make having sex in the car any more awquard?!
