Just gave mine a wash and a coat of Fusso99
Who did you use? I ordered an actual spare key off eBay which came with a blank, but when I took the blank to get cut no one would touch it. They all said they are poor quality and mess up their machines with metal filings etc. Eventually I found one place that were willing to give it a go with the same warning that it may not be successful. They had to do it twice and it only operated the door and not the ignition or vice versa I can't remember. They were willing to cut a genuine blank but for £30 or something similar, so I still need to get this done.
cant beat a bit of fusso soft99 top wax/sealant

My concern would be that the eBay seller now has a copy of your key and your address!!! Even though I have an immobiliser that still makes me a little uncomfortable.
is your car still beading since you applied the above?
