Fitted my forge 007p and changed my n75 valve only been about 2 miles up the road in it but it feels a lot better and touch wood it don't seem to be hesitating now like it was before. Also went to change my sidelights to my new led ones just to find someone has snapped the two black tabs of flush with the headlight so gave up in that one for now might have to take the headlight out to do it. Also fitted my tailored matts now the car is nice and dry inside.
Just got to stop it smoking occasionally now think its deffo fuel cause its white smoke and stinks of fuel and my exhaust tip is completely black as though its running rich. And I'm not using any oil or coolant.

I took my car to the garage today for it's MOT and they've just rang me saying that it failed on the MOT and its going to cost £1200 to fix the problems.

Needs an inner and outer cv boot on the passenger side.

Needs bushes all replacing

rear door doesn't open and module needs replacing.

and that also includes full service as don't have time to do the service myself.

That's going to hurt the bank balance but needs doing.

Sounds kinda expensive! Worth asking for a breakdown of the costs and maybe a second quote from another garage? Do ALL the suspension bushes really need replacing??

Got halfway to work and ran out of petrol :( I was running late and giving it the beans...on the upside i now feel very awake after walking home then cycling in!

know the feeling done that on the way home from work and then had to walk miles to get petrol. The worst is when your going to the petrol station and then you break down outside of the petrol station lol.

Removed badges from the boot lid and worked out how to remove the front bumper, thanks to a search on here :)

Reason for bumper removal is that I've got a nice big coolant leak to suss out tomorrow. Oh and replace a front brake disk bolt as sheared one earlier :( :( broke a 17mm socket to :( :(

Are these easy to remove (the threaded shank from the hub) using easy outs or the like??

So she's going nowhere at the moment, sat on the drive with no front end.
