Very similar to my strut brace by TA Techix in Germany.

Badger5 Custom Map + TIP,
3”Custom exhaust, FMIC, Bosh 550’s, BC Coilovers, ARB’s +loads more.

I was wondering if they might not be the same or rebadging the same supplier ?

Had to angle grind small part of the fixing plate on either side to get over uneven parts on top of strut.

Dogbone engine mount ordered. Are new bolts a must buy when replacing these?

Might get a set of powerflex bushes too actually... see how my PayPal is doing.

Some of them are stretch bolts so better to be safe than sorry, they won’t be expensive anyway

Yup thank god there’s huge run off everywhere. didn’t cause too much damage but damaged none the less.
Ripped splitter back , which in turn caused the Bumper to flex causing the wheel arch cove r to explode and now there are tiny spider web fractures to the bumper top layer at edge of arch! I’ll get a pic and short video up later.
All in all a great day though.

Just a quick heads up, there is a show happening (North East auto show) on the 12th May at the Northern Echo Arena that a few of us are going to for a look round etc tickets are £6 I think so a bargain for a day out.

This isn't a meet with a stand etc but it's a gathering of like minded people and a chance to have a jolly good look round at some cars.

More info here - https://forums.seatcupra.net/index.php?threads/nort-east-auto-show-12-5-19.449107/

If you're around and fancy it pop along and find us.

So I changed the Front left CV joint today, no more feeling like the wheel was about to fall off.... I found the larger gaiter hose clip of the split outer CV gaiter, inside the gaiter and wrapped around the CV joint + no grease....

Today I nearly finishes stripping the leon. Gotta get hold of some dry ice to freeze the sound deadening and then start welding in the cage. And cutting all the spare bits out

Yep, seeing the same, none of the ones I've seen for sale in the 3.5K upwards are selling either, just not a market when people sell these off too cheap. I suggest we all get together to agree no one sells there Cupra R for less than 3K, this will push prices up but also upset the scrappers...
