I actually own an ep3 now, had it a few months now, like has been said, rev the nuts off it, make sure oil is full, all will be well!

The torque of the LCR was nice, but it is good knowing you can beat on the honda every day and it just takes it, them k20 engines are amazingly well built!

They are over priced however, on the fb groups most are going for 2-3k and the dreamers who want 5-6K just get laughed at!

The back end is very lively in the wet, easily combated if you expect it! Same as any car you've got to know the limits

But with the independent rear suspension and RARB once youve committed to a corner at speed youve got make sure you dont lift off or thats when sh*t goes sideways very fast! :bleh:
Nice opinion mate

I do love my seat leons of all ages but ive got an itch with a civic which will need scratching at some point lol

leon mk1 cupra

Powerflex bushes ordered for the new dog bone mount. Noticed they suggest red compound for diesels, are they stiffer than the yellows?

Added the rear strut brace ....yes I know its on upside down, back to front and not straight :)

I went and collected some cupra r rear calipers for the build. Also be given some clio gen 3 197/200 brembo front calipers.
Now to see if I can make them fit on to the leon struts . Need to fabricate.some sort of brackets

Got to the bottom of the annoying intermittent rattle from under front of car, it turns out that after I fitted the miltek downpipe it’s somehow made the rear section move laterally within the centre bushes and is hitting against the heat shield .
Managed to ease the heat shield over a wee bit but will have to get the rear section adjusted to make it more central.
Also emptied my catch can a re-piped the outlet hose back into the turbo intake pipe.
