Powerflex bushes ordered for the new dog bone mount. Noticed they suggest red compound for diesels, are they stiffer than the yellows?
I broke a personal record today getting 39mpg out of my LCR, driving through M4 roadworks. I think my free flowing exhaust is helping with fuel economy!!

I went and collected some cupra r rear calipers for the build. Also be given some clio gen 3 197/200 brembo front calipers.
Now to see if I can make them fit on to the leon struts . Need to fabricate.some sort of brackets

Got to the bottom of the annoying intermittent rattle from under front of car, it turns out that after I fitted the miltek downpipe it’s somehow made the rear section move laterally within the centre bushes and is hitting against the heat shield 
.
Managed to ease the heat shield over a wee bit but will have to get the rear section adjusted to make it more central.
Also emptied my catch can a re-piped the outlet hose back into the turbo intake pipe.
