Yup timing chain and electrical re-calls all done with proof ......but yes the N47 is quite possibly the worst engine ever made. Could always put a 1.8T in it

Had fun today packing out my offside front anti roll bar d bush with a old bit off timing belt
Getting the bolt to line back up was the fun bit also changed the front drop links so my car has now gone back to normal nice and smooth with no little knocking on uneven roads

Anyone know where else i could order forge FMDV008, 007 or similar from? other than forge website. 50€ postage for such a small item seems weird

In fact the forge version isn’t so psssh psssh, I had one years ago.
Decent induction kit gives you more noises.
The Bailey Thai offered you is if I remember correctly is quite loud.
But you’ll find out If you can get hold of one.

Been spending a bit of time looking at my exhaust lately and I can't help feeling like these are a bit weedy.
I had my backbox hanger welded years ago because it had rusted away and was wondering if I can just replace that part of the exhaust with something that has bigger tips, or if I can do anything to the tips by themselves.
As it's a diesel, I wouldn't get any performance gains from a whole new exhaust, but if I might make it sound a bit better, that's always a bonus...
