Ive decided to crank my timing and boost right back until a) the new n75 is fitted b) dp is on c) jbs/supersprint decided to pull their finger from their arses and deliver my exhuast.

Logged it lunch time and its being a total c**t, pissy car

mines on 6,6

funny thing is when i replaced the n75 it peaked higher maybe 21/22psi but felt slower, very strange

Does the positioning (vertical/horizontal etc) of the n75 have any effect on operation? Im sure I read that if its not in the right position it wont work.... or maybe im just talking bollucks

dont know, id like someone to explain how the thing works really, theres a screw on the back of it and id like to know what it does!

interesting, nice find, still baffled as to how one N75F would make the car go like hell but fluctuate boost under load, and another N75F make the car go slower but keep the boost steadier

Just been readinng some articles and it appears a dodgy n75 can cause surging, maybe this is whats giving me the effect of acceleration? trouble is i like it :( i was a bit gutted when the replacement went on, happy that it wasnt fluctuating but then when i gave it some realised it wasnt as much fun!

ok simon i'll try to do that with phil or jonzy next time we meet up? why what are you thinking this'll show up

I was actually aiming that at Forbez as he just said he got VAGCOM working.

Im wanting to compare different cars to see how their requested and actual boost compare, and what psi they make at 6k.

Tom, glad to see its all working now, :D. Driver problem then?

Seems as if we've found a new location after some conversations today, jonzy has been out tonight in the new place and its spot on. :D.

Yep, driver problem, and i dont mean me driving!! Cheers for the help Phil!

Hmm new place eh! I know of a few places locally to me, shut off from the public too, but its a little further for most people!

I feel we'll be looking on google earth for nice long sections of road soon!

Thats cool, glad all is sorted. That road up to Bedlinog is awesome as well before the road of 40000 speed bumps, i nearly died on it one night, the first night i had the cupra. Taught me a lesson.

I went out last nite and did a load of runs. Ignore the title, it should read LB9 not HB9!

Just a little spike  its the same on every run!
