when the wire pins push in from the back they have a rear facing pair of tags liek a fish hook to stop you pulling them out

if you look close you will see what i mean

look down the open end to see them and pus the wire forwards so you can slide a paper clip leg down each side to hold the tags in and let it slide out

then just push it in where you want it to be - might be worth sticking a small screwdriver down there first

takes some practice

OK - they're REALLY not the same as PC connectors, being like this e.g;

How do I get these devils out in the light connectors!? :(

ya lucky it's sunny and i didnt have to bend down much ;)

if i remember i thought it was pins 2+5 swapped over but compare this converted one to yours to check

thats the drivers side connector but passengers side be same pin arrangement but one missing due to lack of foglight that side

should see numbers and colours in the pic

you may have a disc covering the NS foglamp (now brake) hole but it twists out easily and you need a bulb of course to go in it

once swapped and both brakes now working as planned tap into the fog +ve supply on the drivers side and run a single wire to the now empty space the other side to use the old brakes as a pair of fogs

I took mine out when i was welding the arches so you reminded me i need to put it back in now - doh

just don't sit at the lights with ya foot on the brake or you'll get gobbed at and shouted at 'ya fogs on' :p

Yeah I do, thanks!... VICTORY! I've managed to get ONE out haha... I am suuuch a loser! :p Just dug in the paper clip through one of 2 slots on the front-end of the connector, went through and released the wire... haven't re-gained that success with the others as of yet mind :(

I knooow :p... and right you are! Got the other 3 out in no time... Right I'm standing there hurting my brain thinking... I'm one short of those little metal connectors for the block aren't I? Or am I? :whistle: or is there one not in use now that I've swapped them (in order to achieve 2 fog lights)... :p
