Ok mate. It's annoying because Forge said that the 10mms should fit fine, but I'm not 100% confident about their answer.

I suppose I could whack them on the lathe at work, are you talking about making the pocket on the spacer that accommodate the hub rim deeper?

Just spotted this. Yes, that is what I mean, but we are talking half a mm ish..

Spoken to Bill @ Badger5, helpful as ever! :)

He took a wheel off the back of the S3 that was in the workshop and measured the spigot and came to the conclusion that it's very unlikely that the 11mm Forge spacers will fit the back.

I'm now stuck in the predicament, 11mm front and 16mm rear. Or 16mm all round?

Personally on a practicality basis I'd go 11/16. For handling purposes I'd go 16/16.

I really want the H&R spacers, but can't justify the cost. I think they are overkill and at the end of the day they are only wheel spacers

I would agree with that statement. My ebay specials have been fantastic..

I'm going to order a pair of the ebay 15mm ones tomorrow, can someone tell me which type of bolts I need for OEM LCR wheels? Tapered or radius I think they're called?

Well I ordered a pair and asked them to make sure it was the radius bolts so fingers crossed :) Bought another pair of 15mm ones on here recently but didn't want to fit em without another pair for the other axle. Current ones are gold/bronze in colour tho and these new ones will look bright silver so might get all four powdercoated before fitting!

OK I tried to fit mine today and had to stop. Got the rear driver's side wheel off, popped the spacer onto the hub to check the fit and it doesn't fit fully flush against the outer bit of the hub. If I push it as far back as I can onto the bit that sticks out the center the main bit of the spacer is about 2-3mm away from the outer bit of the hub.

I tried both my ebay ones from seller justwheelsuk and another set I bought second hand off someone from here, both were the same story. Is that what they're meant to be like, or are my hubs just too big for 15mm spacers?

Hmm ok, there was some sort of grease on the hub, I figured it must be meant to be there tho. I was just using the jack that comes with the car today, don't have a trolley jack yet so think i'll wait until I do before trying again, particularly if it means having to clean the hub.

Cheers for that Lee :)

Ok silly question. If there are 5 bolts which secure spacer to the hub via the alloy why is there more than 5 holes on each spacer? Do the spacers need fixing to the hub each time you take a wheel off?
