iv just ordered the TFSI FR and the 18" wheels but ive found some other wheels i like.
Konig Crosshairs 19", just wondering if there was ay difference between the 8x19 and the 9.5x19. i assume u get more grip with the wider tyres but does anyone know of any clearance issuses with the wider tyres? i dont really care about ride quality i actually preffer a firmer ride.

Also wondering if staggered wheels are different width than standard or are deep dish jus set back further? thanks for any help

A lot of Euro Look cars run wider rims at the back, and on the continent it is easy to pick up a set of wheels with different widths and offsets for front/rear. In the UK you can normally only buy in matched sets apart from premium wheels which are sold singly. Unless you want a much bigger dish effect on the back it is much easier just to purchase a set of spacers for the rear hubs to mount the rear wheels so they 'stick out' a bit more.
Wider wheels will change the suspension characteristics a bit, particularly if only fitted to one axle.
Current VAG cars come with a very high offset which helps the self centring of the steering and also aids the car to track very straight so you don't want to mess this up too much especially on the front.
