Has anyone Fit 10 inches on the leon? Has it been done? Im seriously after doing it. Im getting my arches rolled out by 1 inch. will i need to go more. What offsets and sizes should i be looking at. The wheels in question are 18's (and no they are not porsche!)

36 views and not even 1 person has asked me why the hell i would want to do it.
Still some one must know?

ive done it. Ive serched for a whole week now. Either im doing something wrong or there is nothing about it.
The only stuff i can find about ten inch wide wheels is ''dont do it'' or ''why dont you get some rs4 rep's instead'' or ''doubt they will fit''
I cant find any real help, correct me if im wrong tho. The only car on here i can see that is claiming to run 10inch wide wheels is this guy (see pic below), And they are only 17's and IMO dont look 10 inch wide.

I cant find any help he got, he just seemed to get slated for bieng euro.

i suppose it all depends on offsets and clearance of your arches and suspension. you say you're getting your arches pulled out an inch so that shouldn't be an issue but what suspension are you going to be using? will you be going for the stretched look with your tyres?

The suspention is or the air bag veriety. Of wich isnt on the car yet, so im not sure or how teh clearence issues will be. The wheels bieng 10inch i believe should take 305width tyres, but i will be running on 230's, which is a comprimise between, stretch yet still retaining safety!!!

i think im just going to start a topic about ''what remap, what dumpvalve, what coilovers, and what oem wheels will fit my car''

with exeption or mr KarlosR for trying to give me a help, im waisting my time here. am i wrong?

you will probably have to go at least et30 and lower for the wheels to clear your dampers although If your going air ride this might not be an issue.

The reason your not getting many answers is cause not many people have done it.

dont know if its just the way i read your thread but it doesn't come across to well if your after help

oh ok :$ sorry well i am after help. Maybe i should use extra question marks in future???? lol.

Ahh ok thanks for that, When you say et30 or less, does that meat less as in, et25 ect ect ect?
I guess not many people have tried it before, but i thought at least one person must have tried to put porche turbo wheels on?
Its odd, teh seat leon is a direct rival to the golf gti. If you look on a golf gti site, eveyone sticks 10 gazillion inch wide wheels on. And smooths everything out ''euro's'' everything. I expected teh same on here. But all it seems to be is teh odd change of wheels, springs and tyres. Its interesting

the golf boys tend to take a different approach, although I love the euro look myself.
Think the dub boys have to make their dull styled chariots look better ;) congrats for picking the leon.

thank you for the help. I guess hitting the liner is not too much of an issue, as it can be removed, and either make up a cover for the intercooler, or put in a front mount wich should happen eventually down the line.
My air suspention is on order, and as far as im aware there arnt many other leons running it. In fact i havent seen any? I do agree that the golf boys have to tart up there dull and boring cars, i liked that comment, i dont know how seat of all people, took the chassis and made a better car all round, even better looking than the audi IMO. Golfs are dull and boring, and even horriably dull to drive.

I also agree the standard leon is a good looking car, thats why i dont want to tamper with it too much, but i just cant help but think teh back end looks liek it needs to be scraping the floor with some immpossiably wide wheels sneaking from under teh arches. But thats probably just me.

When parts start to arive i will start a progress thread on here, see how people take it.
