I also agree the standard leon is a good looking car, thats why i dont want to tamper with it too much, but i just cant help but think teh back end looks liek it needs to be scraping the floor with some immpossiably wide wheels sneaking from under teh arches. But thats probably just me.

must admit lowering and adding just half an inch to tyre width makes the car very different from the rear. they sit level against the arch but make it look tucked in. phat
but 10"? id fear it would look to much. guy put a pic up of his golf with 20" alloys and it looked very wrong. your eyes were drawn to the wheels and nothing else. rollerskate was one of the comments.
im wondering if the same will happen from the rear.. will it look like lots of tyre and little else?
all just opinions and nothing wrong with being different. as long as its safe and you love it who cares.
be interesting to see what the overall effect looks like

i fully uinderstand about there bieng lots of wheel. But its only 18 inches. Im toying at the idea of 17's, but because of teh size of the arches. teh leon can litterally sit of the floor before teh wheel is even in teh arch. Which puts me off.
I know 10 inches sounds wide, it is, but its only a few inches wider than a standard cupra R wheel. Will have to see how it goes, it may be a very expensive mistake, or it may be teh best thing that has ever happened to my car. But thats what i love, nothing ventured nothing gained My son.

lol kk i understand you dont want to spill the beans as i have a set of wheels im getting when i have the money that no one has got
ive done it. Ive serched for a whole week now. Either im doing something wrong or there is nothing about it.
The only stuff i can find about ten inch wide wheels is ''dont do it'' or ''why dont you get some rs4 rep's instead'' or ''doubt they will fit''
I cant find any real help, correct me if im wrong tho. The only car on here i can see that is claiming to run 10inch wide wheels is this guy (see pic below), And they are only 17's and IMO dont look 10 inch wide.
